Leason F. Pomeroy III, FAIA, is an architect and an entrepreneur. After graduating from Arizona State University with a fine arts degree, he obtained a graduate degree in Architecture from University of Southern California and started his own architectural firm in 1961, Leason Pomeroy Associates, Inc. Under his leadership the firm became the largest multi-discipline design firm in the county, earning more than 300 major design awards, including national recognition for the prestigious "Outstanding Design Firm in California" award presented by the American Institute of Architects. Notable Orange County design projects include John Wayne Airport and Sage Hill School. Following the company’s sale to its employees in 1999, Leason founded LP3 Architecture to pursue his passion for outstanding design as expressed in private residences and specialized projects for discerning clients such as author Dean Koontz and many others along the Orange County coast and foothills and in Mexico.
